How to write a persuasive essay: a list of eye-catching topics


The persuasive essay is an essay that is argumentative in nature. The purpose of the persuasive essay is to persuade--as the name suggests--the reader toward your side in an argument or debate. Your goal is to present evidence that shows your side is better than the opposition. But of course in order to write the persuasive essay you need an eye-catching topic on which to base your argument otherwise you will find it challenging to move forward.

No matter the type of paper you are required to write you will end up spending quite a bit of time with the subject. That is why it is best to pick a topic that will keep your interest for the duration of the project. You can get ideas for topics by doing the following:

  2. You can select a topic based on what you have recently read or seen
